Following, at the Winton Shire Council office, Winton, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey received a briefing from Council representatives.
Following, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey visited the Winton State School where His Excellency addressed guests.
Following, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey visited the Winton Police Station, met and received a briefing from staff and toured operations.
Following, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey visited the Winton Hospital, met staff and toured the facility.
In the afternoon, at the Winton Shire Council Supper Room, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey attended a luncheon with Winton community representatives, and then departed for Muttaburra.
Following, in Muttaburra, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey visited Muttaburra State School where His Excellency addressed guests.
Following, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey visited the Muttaburra Primary Health Centre, met and received a briefing from staff and toured operations.
Following, at the Dr Arratta Memorial Museum, Muttaburra, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey received a briefing from Council representatives, and then attended a community afternoon tea at the Muttaburra Community Hall where His Excellency addressed guests.
Following, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey visited the ‘Acacia Downs’ property and received a briefing on the Queensland Feral Pest Initiative Cluster Fencing Project, and then returned to Longreach.
