On Monday, in the morning, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey departed Government House for official travel to the Lockyer Valley.

In the afternoon, at Lockyer Valley Council Chamber, Gatton, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey received a briefing from Council Representatives.

Following, at Mount Sylvia, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey visited Mount Sylvia State School and the Governor addressed students and guests.

Following, at the Das Neumann Haus, Laidley, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey hosted a community afternoon tea for residents and emergency services personnel impacted by recent bushfires.

Following, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey returned to Government House following official travel to the Lockyer Valley.
