In the morning, at Council Chambers, Bundaberg Central, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD received a briefing from Bundaberg Regional Council representatives.
Following, at Bundaberg Hospital, Bundaberg Central, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo toured the hospital and met with staff.
Following, at UQ Rural Clinical School, Bundaberg Central, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo received a briefing and met with staff.
Following, at Grunske’s by the River, Bundaberg Central, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo received, Mayor, Bundaberg Regional Council, Cr Jack Dempsey for a working lunch.
In the afternoon, at Burnett Heads State School, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo visited the school, read a book to students, and the Governor addressed guests.
Following, at the Australian Sugar Cane Railway, Bundaberg North, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo participated in a steam train ride through the Bundaberg Botanic Gardens.
Following, at the Hinkler Hall of Aviation, Bundaberg North, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD toured the centre and met with staff and volunteers.
Following, at Café 1928, Bundaberg Botanic Gardens, Bundaberg North, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo hosted an afternoon tea in support of the Bundaberg community, and the Governor addressed guests.

In the evening, at Mon Repos Turtle Centre, Mon Repos, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo toured the Centre and met with staff.
