On Friday, in the morning, at St John’s Cathedral, Brisbane City, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey attended the National Police Remembrance Day Church Service, and the Governor laid the first wreath.

In the afternoon, at Government House, His Excellency received the Clerk of the Parliament, Mr Neil Laurie, for the presentation of two Bills for Assent.

In the evening, at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre, South Bank, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey attended the opening night performance of Priscilla Queen of the Desert.
