In the afternoon, at Bald Hills, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey, visited the Guide Dogs Queensland Breeding and Training Centre, where the Governor provided an address and presented awards at the 2015 Guide Dogs Queensland Team Graduation Ceremony.

In the evening, at the Stamford Plaza Hotel, the Governor attended the Defence Reserves Support Council's 'Employer Support Awards' Ceremony, where the Governor provided an address and presented awards.
