In the morning, at Hong Kong International Airport, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC visited the Cathay Pacific City and met senior members of staff before touring the Integrated Operation Centre, In-flight Service Training Centre, and Safety Training Centre.

In the afternoon, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey visited the Hong Kong Museum of History for a briefing and guided tour.

Earlier, in the morning, the Honourable Justice Margaret McMurdo AC ceased duty as Acting Governor and the Honourable Justice Catherine Holmes commenced duty as Acting Governor.

Following, in the morning, at the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron, Manly, the Acting Governor, and Dr Arthur Preston, attended and officiated at the Opening Day of the 131st Yachting Season.
