On Monday, in the morning, at Holy Cross Primary School, Wooloowin, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM attended a tree planting ceremony in support of National Wattle Day. The Governor addressed guests and planted a tree.

In the afternoon at Government House, Her Excellency received the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, the Honourable Curtis Pitt MP, Clerk of the Parliament, Mr Neil Laurie, and Sergeant-at-Arms, Mr Michael Watkin for the presentation of the Appropriation (Parliament) Bill 2022, the Appropriation Bill 2022, and the Trading (Allowable Hours) and Other Legislation Amendment Bill 2022.
