On Saturday, in the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD welcomed delegates to the Australia-US Ministerial (AUSMIN) Consultations at Government House.

 

In the afternoon, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD departed Government House for Official travel to Townsville City Council.

 

In the evening, The Vice-Regal couple met with the Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley in Townsville.

 

Following, in the evening, at the Townsville Civic Theatre, South Townsville, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended the Australian Festival of Chamber Music’s James Cook University Governor’s Gala Concert ‘Romance Isn’t Dead, Yet’ and the Governor addressed guests.
