On Thursday, in the morning, at 1 William Street, Brisbane, the Honourable Justice Anthe Philippides, Acting Governor of Queensland, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council of Queensland.

In the afternoon, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey returned to Queensland and Justice Philippides ceased duty as Acting Governor of Queensland.
