On Thursday, in the morning, at Hummingbird House (Wesley Mission Queensland), Chermside, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM visited Hummingbird House, and addressed staff and families, toured the facility and read a book.

Following, at Government House, via teleconference, Her Excellency presided over a meeting of the Executive Council. 

In the afternoon, at Baden-Powell Park, Samford, Her Excellency attended the Scouts Queensland LEAP23 Event, and the Governor addressed participants.
