On Friday, in the afternoon, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a luncheon in support of Queensland Ballet and to honour Lady Primrose Potter, and the Governor addressed guests.

Following, at Government House, His Excellency signed the proclamation resuming administration of the Government of the State of Queensland.

Following, at Government House, His Excellency received the Clerk of the Parliament, Mr Neil Laurie, for the presentation of two Bills for Assent.

In the evening, at Suncorp Stadium, Milton, His Excellency attended the A-League match between Brisbane Roar Football Club and Sydney Football Club.
