In the morning, at St John’s Cathedral, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC, attended the Palliative Care Queensland Thanksgiving Service to celebrate National Palliative Care Week, where the Governor delivered a reading.

In the afternoon, at the Maleny Showgrounds, the Governor and Mrs Kaye de Jersey attended the 78th Maleny Agricultural Show, where the Governor addressed guests and officially opened the Show.
