On Tuesday, in the morning, at St Finbarr’s Parish Primary School, Quilpie, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey attended school assembly and the Governor addressed students and staff.

Following, at Quilpie State College, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey attended school assembly where the Governor addressed students and staff, and visited classrooms meeting with students and staff.

Following, at Quilpie Shire Council Chambers, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey received a briefing on local issues from the Mayor and Councillors.

Following, at Quilpie Airport, the Governor, with Mrs de Jersey, officially opened the newly-upgraded airport terminal, and the Governor addressed guests.

In the afternoon, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey returned to Brisbane from official travel to Thargomindah and Quilpie.
