On Wednesday, in the afternoon, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC greeted Burnett Heads State School students visiting for afternoon tea and a guided tour of the House and gardens.

In the evening, at Government House, the Governor and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a reception in support of the Australian Institute of International Affairs, Queensland (AIIA) where His Excellency addressed guests and presented the 2017 AIIA Queensland Awards and the 2017 AIIA Queensland Scholarship Asia Pacific.
