On Monday, in the morning, at the Queensland Maritime Museum, South Bank, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey attended the opening of Project Poppy 100, and the Governor officially opened the Remembrance Day commemorative project, and addressed guests.

In the afternoon, at Government House, His Excellency received the Consul-General for the United States of America, Ms Sharon Hudson-Dean, and Chargé d’Affaires of the United States of America, Mr James Carouso.
