Government House Queensland
In the morning, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey, departed Brisbane for an official visit to India, Belgium and the United Kingdom and the Chief Justice of Queensland, the Honourable Timothy Carmody, commenced duty as Acting Governor.
In the evening, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey arrived in New Delhi, India, greeted by Queensland Trade and Investment Commissioner, India, Mr Parag Shirnamé.
Also in the evening, at Government House, the Acting Governor hosted a reception for Youth Members of the YMCA Queensland Youth Parliament.
