On Thursday, in the morning, at the at Botanical Gardens, Brisbane City, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD attended the National Police Day Memorial Service and laid the first wreath.

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency greeted members of the University of Queensland Women’s College, attending a guided tour of the House and Gardens.

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency greeted members of the public, attending a guided tour of the House and Gardens.

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo hosted a reception for the National University Colleges Australia Conference and the Governor addressed guests.

In the evening, at the Brisbane Multicultural Arts Centre, Kangaroo Point, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended the Brisbane Jazz Club’s Big Band Jazz Festival opening night and the Governor addressed guests.
