On Thursday, in the morning, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC departed Brisbane for an official visit to the Gold Coast.

Following, at the Gold Coast Convention Centre, the Governor presided at a meeting of the Executive Council of Queensland, and then returned to Brisbane.

Following, at Government House, the Governor greeted members of the public visiting for a guided tour of the House.

In the evening, at Waterfront Place, Brisbane, the Governor officially opened the new Queensland premises of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, where His Excellency addressed guests.
