On Saturday, in the afternoon, at PGL Kindilan Camp, Redland Bay, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM attended Afternoon Tea in support of the Girl Guides Queensland ‘Revels, Night Shadows and Night Moves’ event, and the Governor addressed guests. 

In the evening, at South Bank Parklands, South Brisbane, Her Excellency attended the Multicultural Australia annual LUMINOUS Lantern Parade 2024, and the Governor addressed guests.
