On Monday, in the morning, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey departed Government House for official travel to Toowoomba.

Following, at Toowoomba City Hall, Toowoomba, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey received a briefing from Toowoomba Regional Council representatives.

Following, at Toowoomba City Hall, Toowoomba, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey received a briefing from Toowoomba Local Disaster Management representatives.

Following, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey visited Crows Nest State and the Governor addressed students and guests and Mrs de Jersey read a book to students and guests.

In the afternoon, at Crows Nest, His Excellency undertook a walking tour of Charlotte Street, and met with local business owners.

Following, at the Nest Café, Crows Nest, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey received the Mayor of Toowoomba Regional Council, Councillor Paul Antonio.

Following, at Bunnyconnellen, Crows Nest, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey hosted an afternoon tea for members of the community affected by the recent bushfires, and the Governor addressed guests.

Following, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey returned to Government House following official travel to Toowoomba.
