On Friday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted Investiture Ceremonies for the following recipients of Australian Honours and Awards announced in the 2019 Queen’s Birthday Honours List and the 2020 Australia Day Honours List: Inspector Corey Allen APM; Mrs Kerry Petersen PSM; Ms Marita Cowie AM; Sergeant William Gill CSC; Mr Mervyn Ward OAM; Mr Barry Dobson OAM; Mr Duncan McInnes OAM; Chief Superintendent Mark Wheeler APM; Mrs Alison Alexander OAM; and Warrant Officer Class Two Adam Lehane CSM.

In the afternoon, at Government House, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey hosted Investiture Ceremonies for the following recipients of Australian honours and awards announced in the August 2019 Bravery Announcement and the 2020 Australia Day Honours List: Ms Elva Henderson OAM; Mr Alan Lawry BM; Ms Tracey Eastwick ASM; Mr Rodger Sambrooks AFSM; Dr Morris Lee OAM; the late Mr Robert Pickersgill BM (received by Mr Douglas Pickersgill); Mr Peter Stoker OAM; Detective Senior Sergeant Sasha Finney APM; Mr Lindsay Adams OAM; and Professor Sarva-Daman Singh OAM.
