On Thursday, in the morning, at the Executive Building, the Honourable Chief Justice Catherine Holmes, Acting Governor, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.
In the evening, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC, Administrator of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia, with Mrs Kaye de Jersey, hosted a function in support of the Royal Society of Queensland and addressed guests.
