In the morning, at St John’s Cathedral, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC attended the annual St John Ambulance Conference Church Service, where the Governor invested Ms Nadine Uhlhorn as a Member of the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem.

In the afternoon, at the Albert Street Uniting Church, the Governor attended the Heart Foundation's 2015 Annual Memorial and Thanksgiving Service, where the Governor delivered a reading.

In the evening, at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, the Governor attended the 2015 Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists Annual Congress, where the Governor delivered an address and officially opened the Congress.
