On Friday, in the morning, at the Yarrabah Aboriginal Shire Council Chambers, Yarrabah, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey received a briefing from Council representatives. 

Following, at Yarrabah, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey visited Yarrabah State School and the Governor presented Leadership Badges and addressed students and guests. 

Following, at Yarrabah, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey toured the Yarrabah Arts and Cultural Precinct. 

Following, at the Yarrabah Arts and Cultural Precinct, Yarrabah, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey attended a Community Morning Tea. 

In the afternoon, at the Pullman Reef Casino Hotel, Cairns, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey hosted an Investiture Ceremony for recipients of Australian honours and awards announced in the Australia Day 2019 Honours List and Australian Bravery Decorations announced in March 2018 and August 2018, and the Governor addressed guests.
