On Thursday, in the morning, at Parliament House, Brisbane, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC presided at a meeting of the Executive Council of Queensland.

In the evening, at Government House, the Governor and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a reception in support of the Defence Reserves Support Council, Queensland, where His Excellency addressed guests and presented the 2016 Prince of Wales and Tasman Scheme Awards.

Also in the evening, at Brisbane Airport, the Governor was represented at the welcoming of Their Majesties King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of the Netherlands by Honorary Aide-de-Camp, Commander Peter Tedman DSM OAM RAN.
