On Thursday, in the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM received the Clerk of the Parliament, Mr Neil Laurie, for the presentation of an Industrial Relations and Other Legislation Amendment Bill 2022.

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency greeted members of the Queensland Council of Garden Clubs, attending a guided tour of the House and Gardens.

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency hosted a luncheon for members of the Executive Council.

Following, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD departed Government House on Official Travel to Sydney, New South Wales, and the Honourable Chief Justice Helen Bowskill commenced duties as Acting Governor.

Following, members of the public visited Government House for a guided tour of the House and Gardens.
