In the morning, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey returned to Brisbane, and the Honourable Justice Margaret McMurdo AC ceased duty as Acting Governor.

Following, at Government House, the Governor presided at a meeting of Executive Council.
