On Saturday, in the morning, at The Allies Memorial, New Farm, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC, Administrator of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia was represented by Flight Lieutenant Tim Daelman, Honorary Aide-de-Camp at the 71^st Anniversary Commemorative Service of the Victory in Europe.

In the afternoon, at Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Arts, the Administrator and Mrs Kaye de Jersey attended the Flying Arts Alliance opening of the Queensland Regional Art Awards where His Excellency addressed guests.

In the evening, at the Greek Orthodox Church of St George, South Brisbane, the Administrator attended the Greek Orthodox Community of St George Brisbane’s Paschal Resurrection Liturgy.
