On Friday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a morning tea for St John Ambulance (Queensland) for the investiture and presentation of awards into the Order of St John, and the Governor addressed guests.

In the afternoon, at Brisbane City Hall, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey attended the official launch of the Moreton Bay Foundation Limited, and the Governor addressed guests and unveiled a plaque.
