On Monday, in the morning, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC CVO departed Government House for Regional Government House operations in Charters Towers.

In the afternoon, at Charters Towers Women of the Outback Shed, Mosman Park, His Excellency toured the facilities, met with members from the Charters Towers Women of the Outback Shed and the Charters Towers Men’s Shed, planted a tree, and addressed guests.

Following, at Commercial Hotel, Lissner, His Excellency hosted a reception in support of the Charters Towers community, and addressed guests.

In the evening, at the Charters Towers Scout Den, Millchester, His Excellency attended the Charters Towers Scouts meeting, met with Scouts and Girl Guides, and addressed guests.
