On Friday, in the afternoon, Her Excellency, the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Nimmo RFD returned to Queensland. Following, Her Excellency signed a Proclamation to resume duty as Governor of Queensland. The Honourable Chief Justice, Helen Bowskill ceased duty as Acting Governor.

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency received a call, via teleconference, from the Police Commissioner, Katarina Carroll APM.
