On Tuesday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC commenced duty as Administrator of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia and the Honourable Chief Justice Catherine Holmes assumed duty as Acting Governor.

In the afternoon, the Administrator received Commander, Combat Support Group, RAAF, Air Commodore Ken Robinson CSC and the new Commanding Officer, 23 Squadron, RAAF, Wing Commander Rosemary Dyke.
