On Wednesday, in the morning, at HMAS Moreton, Bulimba, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey attended the opening of the Commander Lachlan King Memorial Garden, and the Governor presented Australia Day awards and the Governor’s Cup, and addressed guests.

In the afternoon, at Government House, His Excellency received Commander, Combat Support Group, RAAF, Air Commodore Veronica Tyler, and Commanding Officer, No. 23 (City of Brisbane) Squadron, Wing Commander Mark Thompson.
