On Tuesday, in the morning, at Ibis Brisbane Airport Hotel, Eagle Farm, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC received a briefing from Brisbane Airport Corporation representatives on the new runway at Brisbane Airport.

In the afternoon, at Government House, His Excellency received Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Australia, His Excellency Mr Abdulla Al Subousi, accompanied by Third Secretary, Head of the Political Section, Embassy of the United Arab Emirates, Mr Majid Al Nekhailawi.

 In the evening, at QPAC, Southbank, His Excellency and Mrs Kaye de Jersey attended the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra 'Handel's Anthems and Fireworks'.
