On Thursday, in the morning, at 1 William Street, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC presided at a meeting of the Executive Council. 

In the afternoon, His Excellency and Mrs Kaye de Jersey departed Government House for official travel to Hinchinbrook Shire and the Cassowary Coast.  

In the afternoon, at Townsville Airport, Townsville, His Excellency undertook media interviews with Breakfast Presenter, Triple M Townsville, Mr Steve Price OAM and with WIN News Townsville and 7NEWS Townsville.
