On Wednesday, in the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD departed Government House for official travel to Lockyer Valley Regional Council.
Following, at the Lockyer Valley Disaster Coordination Centre, Her Excellency received a briefing from Lockyer Valley Regional Council representatives.
Following, at Gatton Hospital, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo received a briefing on operations, toured the facility and met with staff.
Following, at Lockyer Valley Regional Council Depot, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo received a briefing from staff and toured the facility.
Following, at the Floating Café, Grantham, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended lunch in support of the Grantham community.

In the evening, at Victoria Park Events Centre, Herston, Her Excellency attended the Queensland Country Women’s Association Centenary Launch and addressed guests.
