In the morning, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey departed Brisbane for an official visit to Springsure, Central Queensland.

Following, at the Springsure Showgrounds, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey attended the 150th Springsure Pastoral and Agricultural Show, where the Governor addressed guests and officially opened the Show, before returning to Brisbane.

Earlier in the morning, at ANZAC Square, Flight Lieutenant Rob Moran, representing the Governor, attended the United Nations Association of Australia, Queensland 68th Anniversary of United Nations Peace Keeping Service, where Flight Lieutenant Moran read the UN Secretary-General’s message and laid the first wreath.
