On Monday, in the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young PSM departed Brisbane for Official Travel to Toowoomba Regional Council, Western Downs Regional Council and Cherbourg Aboriginal Shire Council.

Following, at Toowoomba Hospital, Toowoomba City, Her Excellency toured the hospital and met with staff. At the conclusion of her visit, Her Excellency was interviewed by Risa Utama from Channel 7.

Following, at Toowoomba Mosque, Harristown, Her Excellency toured the mosque, met with members of the community, and addressed guests.

In the afternoon, at Toowoomba City Hall, Toowoomba City, Her Excellency received a briefing from Toowoomba Regional Council representatives.

Following, at University of Southern Queensland (USQ) Toowoomba Campus, Darling Heights, Her Excellency attended a USQ hosted afternoon tea, and addressed guests.

In the evening, at George Banks Rooftop Bar and Bistro, Toowoomba City, Her Excellency received the Mayor, Deputy Mayor and Vice-Chancellor of University of Southern Queensland for a working dinner.
