On Friday, in the morning, at the Kedron Park Emergency Services Complex, Kedron, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC visited the State Disaster Coordination Centre.

In the afternoon, at Government House, His Excellency and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a luncheon for His Royal Highness The Duke of York.

Following, at Government House, His Excellency received the Clerk of the Parliament, Mr Neil Laurie, for the presentation of one Bill for Assent.

Following, at Government House, His Excellency received the Acting High Commissioner of Papua New Guinea to Australia, Mr Sakias Tameo, accompanied by Acting Consul-General for Papua New Guinea, Mr Jimmy Ovia, and Secretary, Department of Provincial and Local Affairs, Mr Dickson Guinea.

Following, at the State Library of Queensland, South Bank, His Excellency attended the Pitch@Palace Australia 2.0 final.

In the evening, at Government House, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey hosted a dinner in honour of the visit to Queensland by His Royal Highness The Duke of York, and the Governor addressed guests.
