On Wednesday, in the morning, at Miles Hospital, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM toured the facilities and met with staff.

 

Following, at Dogwood Crossing Gallery, Miles, Her Excellency hosted a morning tea in support of the Miles community, and the Governor addressed guests.

 

Meanwhile, at Government House, members of the Mount Ommaney Probus Club visited for a guided tour of the House and Gardens.

 

Following, at Dogwood Crossing Gallery, Miles, Her Excellency hosted a Private Investiture Ceremony for Mr Eric Geldard OAM and the Governor addressed guests.

 

Following, at the Miles Historical Village, Her Excellency toured the village with the Western Downs Regional Council Mayor, Councillor Paul McVeigh.

 

In the afternoon, at Miles State High School, Her Excellency toured the school and addressed students and teachers.

 

In the afternoon, Her Excellency returned to Brisbane from Official Travel to Western Downs Regional Council, Miles.

 

In the evening, at Customs House, Brisbane, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD attended The University of Queensland End of Year Senate Dinner, and the Governor addressed guests.
