On Thursday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC CVO received Regional Manager Queensland, Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands, Qantas Airways, Mr Anthony Penney.

Following, at Government House, His Excellency greeted members of the Queensland Museum visiting for a guided tour of the House and Gardens.

Following, at 1 William Street, His Excellency presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the afternoon, at Government House, His Excellency greeted members of the public visiting for a guided tour of the gardens.

In the evening, at Government House, His Excellency and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a dinner in honour of Queenslanders recognised in the Queen’s Birthday 2021 Honours List and the Governor addressed guests. Guests included: the Most Reverend Dr Phillip Aspinall AC and Dr Christa Aspinall; Mr Philip Bacon AO; Mr Gerard Bradley AO and Mrs Imelda Bradley; Mr Everald Compton AO and Mrs Helen Compton; Mr Wayne Kratzmann AM and Mr Demetri Hughes; Mrs Jessica Ballinger PSM and Mr Nigel Gadsby; Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Anderson CSC and Ms Jen Shaw; Mrs Vanessa Fowler OAM and Ms Priscilla Dickie; and Dr Amanda Dines OAM.
