On Friday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC received the Governor of Nevada, the Honourable Brian Sandoval; First Lady Lauralyn Sandoval; Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development Executive Director, Mr Paul Anderson; and Deputy Director, Mr Derek Armstrong.

Following, at Government House, His Excellency and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a morning tea for the official opening of The Spouses’ Gallery and The Spouses of the Governors of Queensland book, and the Governor addressed guests.

In the afternoon, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey departed Government House for official travel to Townsville.

In the evening, at the North Queensland Club, Townsville, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey attended the Past Presidents’ Gala Dinner, and the Governor addressed guests.
