On Saturday, in the morning, at the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron, Manly, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey attended the opening of the 135th Sailing Season, and the Governor officiated and addressed guests.

In the evening, at Brisbane Entertainment Centre, Boondall, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey attended a performance of 'The Man. The Music. The Show' by Hugh Jackman.
