On Wednesday, in the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD received Ambassador of Brazil, His Excellency Mr Mauricio Lyrio and Honorary Consul of Brazil in Brisbane Ms Valeria Noleto.

Following, Her Excellency greeted members of Toowoomba Probus Club visiting Government House for a guided tour.

In the afternoon, at Red Cross Queensland Southport, Her Excellency presented medals to recipients at the Australian Red Cross Queensland Branch, National Emergency Medal Presentation ceremony and the Governor addressed guests.

Following, at Government House, members of the public attended a free guided garden tour.

In the evening, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo hosted a Pride in Queensland Dinner, in support of Queensland Stage and Screen Industries and the Governor addressed guests. The guests included the Honourable Grace Grace MP and Mr Michael Grace, Ms Kylie Munnich and Mr John Williams, Ms Amanda Jolly and Mr Mr Peter Knights, Ms Caroline Martin and Mr Schuyler Weiss, Ms Angie Milliken, Ms Mairi Cameron, Mr Stephen Lance, Mr Jon Dowding, Ms Chrissy Feld, Ms Tracey Robertson, Mr Nathan Mayfield, Ms Elise Greig and Ms Jacqueline Somerville, Mr John Stainton, Ms Yolande Yorke and Dr Ingrid Tall.
