On Thursday, in the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young PSM signed a Message for a Bill.   

On Thursday, in the morning, at Carina Men’s Shed, Carina, Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD toured the facility and greeted members. 

In the afternoon, at Parliament House, Her Excellency presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.  

Following, at the Ice Cream Factory, West End, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended the welcome for Opera Queensland's new Chair, Ms Linda Apelt, and the Governor addressed guests.
