On Wednesday, in the morning, at ANZAC Square, Brisbane, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs de Jersey attended the 2017 Indigenous Veterans’ Ceremony and laid the first wreath.

In the afternoon, His Excellency assumed duty as Administrator of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia, and the Honourable Chief Justice Catherine Holmes assumed duty as Acting Governor of Queensland.

In the evening, at Suncorp Stadium, His Excellency attended the 2017 Holden State of Origin ‘Game 1’.
