On Thursday, in the morning, at 1 William Street, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the afternoon, at Government House, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey hosted a reception to celebrate MS Queensland’s 60th anniversary and mark World MS Day, and His Excellency addressed guests.

Following, at the Old Museum Building, Bowen Hills, the Governor attended the 2018 National Trust Queensland Heritage Awards, and His Excellency addressed guests and presented the inaugural Lifetime Achievement Award and annual John Herbert Memorial Award.
