On Monday, in the morning, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey visited the Longreach Pastoral College, and then departed for Boulia. 

Following, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey visited Rainbow Gateway and received a briefing on the Remote Jobs and Communities Programme. 

In the afternoon, at the Australian Hotel, Boulia, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey attended a luncheon with community representatives. 

Following, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey visited Boulia State School where His Excellency addressed students. 

Following, at the Min Min Encounter, Boulia, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey received a briefing from Council representatives, and then attended a community afternoon tea where His Excellency addressed guests. 

In the evening, at the QANTAS Park, Longreach, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey attended supper with the Queensland Country Women's Association and the Queensland Rural, Regional and Remote Women's Network.
