On Thursday, in the evening, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a dinner in honour of Queenslanders recognised in the 2019 Queen’s Birthday Honours List, and the Governor addressed guests. Guests included: Emeritus Professor Graeme Turner AO and Ms Christine Turner; the Honourable Graham Bell AM and Mrs Jacqueline Bell; Mr Eric Anderson AM and Dr Diana O'Connor; Colonel Jennifer Cotton CSC and Mr Geoffrey Brearley; Ms Rebecca McGarrity PSM and Mr Conor McGarrity; Mr Darryl King AFSM and Mrs Sharon King; Mrs Teresa Powell ASM and Mr Glen Powell; Mr Michael Beatty OAM and Mrs Cecile Beatty; Ms Maureen Costello OAM and Mr Gerard Braganza; Air Commodore Mark Gower AM LVO OAM (Mil); and Flight Lieutenant Tim Daelman.
