Tuesday, 31 October 2023 

On Tuesday, in the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM greeted students from St Dympna’s Primary School Year 6 visiting for a guided tour of the House and gardens.  

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency hosted a luncheon in support of The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award in Australia, and the Governor addressed guests.  

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD hosted a Reception in support of Queensland Ballet, and the Governor addressed guests.  

In the evening, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo hosted a dinner in support of Queensland Ballet and the Governor addressed guests. Guests included: Mr Li Cunxin AO and Mrs Mary Li; Ms Sophie Li;  Mr Trevor St Baker AO; Ms Robin Campbell and Mr Bobby Valentine; Mr John Chalk and Mrs Lynnly Chalk; Ms Mandy Desteiger; Mrs Cass George and  Mr Ian George; Mr Frank Li and Ms Charlotte Coghlan; Ms Cathie Reid and Mr Stuart Giles; Ms Amanda Talbot and Mr David Bell; Mr Philip Morris; and  Ms Kerri Neuendorf and Mr Jason Meikle.
